Associate Technical Account Manager - Milan

Google's Partner Solutions Organization (PSO) is a technology group dedicated to developing and managing the company's largest and most strategic partnerships. Our multi-faceted professionals work together with teams throughout Google to address our partners' most pressing technology challenges – ones that have no simple answers. We create solutions for and build enduring long-term relationships with organizations that represent outstanding revenue opportunities and/or are strategically important for us to take new, world-shaping technologies to market.

The role: Associate Technical Account Manager

As an Associate Technical Account Manager, you combine technical and entrepreneurial skills to provide the critical link between the lab and Google partners around the world. This is a technical role where you will build successful, long-term relationships with our partners and help to transform collaborative ideas into tangible products. Your ideas, input, and technology experience will enhance Google’s strategic partnerships across a variety of product lines, including AdSense/Search, Mobile, Content Acquisition, YouTube/Video, and E-commerce. You are self-motivated and comfortable with assuming responsibility for all aspects of the partner relationship, including technology integration, launch, optimisation, and renewal. You are creative and passionate about the search and advertising industry and ideally bring expertise in one or more of the following vertical markets: online marketing, mobile (applications and content, not networking/hardware/infrastructure), video, search, e-commerce, email, ISPs or content acquisition in any industry.

Responsibilities:

• Perform implementation reviews, promote new product features, and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges.
• Optimize the revenue flow from new business opportunities by leveraging Google technologies.
• Improve product feature offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams including Product Development and Engineering.
• Implement the technical aspects of a partner’s integration (both new and ongoing) by providing necessary documentation and technical guidance.
• Analyse and optimize the revenue flow of existing partners.

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree preferred in a technical field (Computer Science preferred) with a strong academic record.
• Proven hands-on experience of Internet products and technologies.
• A depth of experience in XML, HTML, JavaScript, and/or Unix/Linux.
• Strong team player and a creative thinker.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
• Excellent written and oral business communication skills.
