Baton Rouge developer buys Longwood Plantation site | Business

• Baton Rouge developer Mike Wampold has purchased a tract of land south of L’Auberge that includes Longwood Plantation.
• The land was part of more than 616 acres Yankton purchased from Pinnacle Entertainment, for $1.36 million in May 2016.
• The current Longwood building was built around 1845. The sugar cane plantation was established in 1785.
