Los Angeles actor Michael Madsen dies at age 67

Michael Madsen's sister, Virginia Madsen, shared a moving post about the actor who died on Thursday from cardiac arrest. He was 67. The actress shared a black and white photo of the siblings on Instagram along with a message on behalf of her and their family. "My brother Michael has left the stage," she began.

The film stars Jason James Richter in his film debut, Lori Petty, Jayne Atkinson, August Schellenberg, and Michael Madsen with the eponymous character, Willy, played by Keiko.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Madsen's net worth before his death was roughly $500,000. Back in 2009, Madsen filed for bankruptcy after being behind on his rent payments. He claimed, at the time, that he owed $1 million dollars to his good friend and collaborator Quentin Tarantino.
