On this date in 1956, Atlantic City International Airport (then Atlantic City Naval Air Center) saw their latest accumulating snowfall on record, with 2.4 inches falling. 2.2" fell in Dover, with 0.5" as far south as Georgetown. However, the I-95 and I-78 corridors were spared.
