Mark Vientos returns to the New York Mets after injury

Mark Vientos (hamstring) says he will return to the Mets' active roster tomorrow in Pittsburgh.

With Mark Vientos due to return as soon as tomorrow, Ronny Mauricio profiles as one of the players who makes the most sense to go back down to Syracuse. Mauricio just made that decision a bit harder with a solo homer to open the scoring in tonight's game.

The Mets announced another bullpen carousel roster move. The more interesting one, involving Mark Vientos, is waiting on a check-in with the player. Last night it seemed more likely Vientos would be activated Friday. Team hasn't decided yet on corresponding move.
