Rafael Devers traded to San Francisco Giants from Boston Red Sox

The Red Sox received right-hander Jordan Hicks, left-hander Kyle Harrison, minor-league outfielder James Tibbs III, and minor-league righty Jose Bello from the Giants in exchange for Devers. Hicks is the only player to appear in a game for Boston thus far.

' "Red Sox were going to move him when he didn't respond to the owner who was paying him that contract.” One would hope that the trade didn't happen solely because Devers besmirched his owner. That was probably just the last straw for a player that had completely checked out from everything outside of swinging a bat.
