Diamondbacks fan banned for interfering with home run ball

The San Francisco Giants, who were tied for first place in the NL West just three weeks ago, suddenly are drifting out of contention in the NL West. They are losing 8-2 to the Arizona Diamondbacks, which would be their 7th loss in the last eight games, going 5-13 since June 12.

The Arizona Diamondbacks fan who interfered with a ball in play Monday night for at least the 4th time is now prohibited from attending any more games at Chase Field for the remainder of the season.

The wild pitch in the last inning has been changed to a passed ball, the second of the night for Bailey. Three of the six Diamondbacks runs are unearned. They're taking full advantage every time the Giants make a mistake.

The Diamondbacks announced that the fan who interfered last night — and has a history of doing it — has been banned from Chase Field for the rest of 2025.
