Final Fantasy XVI's Rising Tide DLC is now available

To start The Rising Tide DLC in FF16, you'll need to first unlock Origin as a destination on the world map and complete the “Priceless” side quest. Origin will appear after completing the “Streets of Madness” main story quest and starting “Back to Their Origin,” the final main quest in the game.

The main story in FF16's The Rising Tide DLC is roughly two to five hours long, depending on how challenging you find the expansion's various battles. With The Rising Tide being endgame content, you might end up losing some time to the expansion's nastier foes, especially if you're playing on a harder difficulty.

After toppling Leviathan in The Rising Tide DLC, head back to the Hideaway and use the Arete Stone. Clive will be transported to a new layer where Ultima will grant the swordsman their power. You'll then have to complete a series of fights to get acclimated with the new Eikon set.
