We continue to respond to the Placer Creek wildfire (K60922). Warm dry conditions have made the fire more active on the fire’s south flank, at the top of the Placer drainage. New Start, British Columbia Canada: The highway has been closed in both directions between Peachland and the BC Hwy 97C junction due to a growing wildfire. Numerous structures threatened. Aviation resources are starting to work the fire. A large resource response in underway. pic.x.com/jcZ14lQJmu
