Damage associated with the Interstate 69 tornado in western Kentucky has been assessed as EF-3 (160 mph). Additional refinements to this are possible. The damage path was 35.4 miles long, 700 yards wide at its peak and it was on the ground for 2 hours and 14 minutes. pic.twitter.com/PGIAJI1JGz

A survey team from NWS Paducah has found high end EF-3 damage so far from the long track tornado that impacted areas from near Eddyville to near Earlington, KY. Due to the severe damage, structural engineering experts will be providing assistance with rating this tornado. pic.twitter.com/LswO4T1rHL
