Amazon Prime Day: Deals start early, end July 11

Amazon Prime Day is a sale event exclusively for Prime members. Typically held in the summer, Prime Day features deals on a variety of products across popular product categories.

Sales from July 8 to 11 are projected to rise 28.4% compared with the same period last year, the report said. Retailers recorded online sales worth $14.2 billion during the two-day Amazon shopping event last July. Amazon Prime Day is almost upon us – and this year's event is twice as long as previous ones. The four-day summer sales event officially kicks off at midnight PDT on Tuesday, July 8, and runs through Friday, July 11.
