The greatest risk of severe weather across Arkansas in the coming days appears to be on Wednesday. A storm system ("L") will drag a cold front into a very warm/humid environment. This will result in scattered to numerous thunderstorms, with severe storms likely.

A cold front will trigger a severe weather outbreak in the Plains on Monday. The front will stall to the northwest of Arkansas on Tuesday, with scattered severe storms possible. Severe storms (and tornadoes) will be more likely Wednesday as the front pushes into the state.

Feeling like summer this evening with some pop up showers and storms. These should begin to wind down as the sun sets. One storm in southeast Arkansas is severe, so please be aware of this if you are located in Chicot County. pic.twitter.com/R88ikvKXtI
