Showers/thunderstorms will increase in coverage as we head into the afternoon hours. There is a marginal risk for severe storms (large hail, damaging wind). An isolated tornado (along/south of I-70) can not be ruled out. Heavy rain fall could lead to localized flooding issues. pic.twitter.com/diEpdMuZLf

The risk of severe storms has ended from I-20 north… strong to severe storms will remain possible over the southern half of the state overnight. The main threats are large hail, strong, gusty winds, and flooding. pic.twitter.com/DoG9A6oAVd
