Search for missing campers continues after Texas floods

A tropical storm flooded the Guadalupe and Medina Rivers in 1978, leaving 33 dead. In Hunt, the river reached 37.5 feet, the highest since at least 1966. Note: Data is current as of July 7, 2025. Nearly a century ago in 1932, hard rains pushed the Guadalupe River out of its banks.
