A Third Season Has Yet To Be Officially Confirmed The story remains incomplete after season 2, and it seems like another outing was always intended, suggesting it's only a matter of time before the show's continuation is confirmed.

As of right now, The Walking Dead: Dead City has not been renewed for Season 3, nor has it been canceled. AMC has yet to announce an additional season of the spinoff.

The first season premiered on June 18, 2023, and consists of six episodes. In July 2023, the series was renewed for a second season, which premiered on May 4, 2025.
