Panthers draft Jonathon Brooks

Brooks was the first running back chosen in the 2024 NFL Draft, and it is understandable to see why. He was a Second Team All-Big 12 selection after averaging 129.5 scrimmage yards per game, the second-most in the conference. Brooks has a strong blend of speed, agility and acceleration.

FRISCO, Texas (AP) — The Dallas Cowboys passed on running back in the NFL draft after moving on from their starter each of the past two seasons. There was as much talk about one of those former Cowboys — two-time rushing champion Ezekiel Elliott — as there was any of the college prospects throughout draft weekend.

Texas RB Keilan Robinson selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars with the No. 167 pick. After playing in massively talented running back rooms with the Longhorns, Robinson was picked earlier than expected thanks to his explosiveness and ability on special teams.
