Over the past month, our @NASAMars rovers and orbiters have given us a front-row seat to solar storms on the Red Planet. We're tracking flares and coronal mass ejections – even auroras – to study how these events unfold in deep space: go.nasa.gov/3XkArht pic.twitter.com/m6XaBdc9JL

CME impact! Check webcams to observe how aurora responds: theauroraguy.com/pages/webcams So far… not a bad start in the solar wind data, nice enhancement in Bt. Let’s hope Bz can stay negative throughout the day and that activity remains enhanced for North American residents. pic.twitter.com/cAZskPQze1

The Sun emitted a strong solar flare on June 10, peaking at 7:08 a.m. ET. NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory captured an image of the event, which was classified as X1.5. blogs.nasa.gov/solarcycle25/2024/06/10/strong-flare-erupts-from-sun-2/ pic.twitter.com/48QVprT2Yx

A large eruption from the backside of the Sun, tonight. This eruption could well be from part of the large filament visible to us last week! It’s difficult to say from this data (which is still coming in), but Solar Orbiter (behind the Sun) will be able to provide some insight. pic.twitter.com/y3ryycLMAB
