European countries experience heatwave, issuing health warnings

In western and south-western Europe both minimum (representative of nighttime conditions) and maximum temperatures (usually occurring during the afternoon) broke monthly station records for June in some locations. Heatwave conditions will continue affect much of Europe through the week, but with the focus of the most anomalous heat moving southeastwards with time Temperatures are expected to be 5-10°C above normal fairly widely, with some locations continuing to exceed 40°C 🌡️ pic.x.com/TSQYpvWt0n
