Kevin Williamson's new series "The Waterfront" debuts on Netflix

While it's not as good as those 3 shows it's still pretty darn good. The cast is what makes this show so good...Holt McCallany, Jake Weary, Danielle Campbell, Topher Grace, Humberly González and Maria Bello all shine and give some of the best performances of their careers.

"There's a whole second season that I have planned out, and a third season, quite frankly. So I'm hoping I get the chance to tell those stories. I do think it's a fun show, and it's unlike anything I've ever done, and I just hope people enjoy it."

The Waterfront, which follows the Buckley family and their attempts to maintain their North Carolina fishing empire, is based on the life of Williamson's father, Wade, a fisherman. “We've never really seen a story about the commercial fisherman told before in any sort of dramatic way in a family drama,” he told Tudum.
