The Mets are calling up right-hander Alex Carrillo, per sources. Another cool scouting story from independent ball, Carrillo played for the Washington Wild Things last summer then was signed out of Venezuela. He was throwing 100 mph at Syracuse and hadn't allowed a hit there.
