Al-Hilal hires Simone Inzaghi as new coach after Inter Milan exit

Inzaghi defended his choice of moving from a top European club to the emerging Saudi Pro League. "I accepted the challenge and stepped out of my comfort zone after several years at Inter. I want to change my way of thinking, my style of play, and try new things. There was no other team I wanted to coach.

Inter Milan appointed Romanian Cristian Chivu as coach on Monday on a two-year deal in place of Simone Inzaghi who left the role following the Italian side's 5-0 Champions League final loss to Paris Saint-Germain.
