There weren’t many US media present yesterday, but it was good to speak to NPR about the UK High Court decision in Julian Assange’s extradition appeal, and the wider implications his case has for journalism and press freedom. 🎧www.wbur.org/hereandnow/2024/03/26/julian-assanges-extradition 👓www.npr.org/2024/03/26/1240861168/wikileaks-julian-assange-uk-court-delays-extradition

Julian Assange has been deprived of his liberty for 13 years. He’s been held in a high security prison for 5 years. His extradition proceedings have been ongoing in UK courts for 4 years. No matter what you think, it has truly been long enough. It’s time to #FreeAssange.

.@JTPsaropoulos asked me a comment about the #HighCourt judgement on Julian #Assange for @AJEnglish : "The British justice is killing him slowly using purely legal means" www.aljazeera.com/news/2024/3/26/uk-ruling-on-julian-assange-killing-him-slowly-say-free-speech-advocates PS: I never *worked with #WikiLeaks*, I've worked as a media partner of #WikiLeaks

what the UK justice has done since 2010: giving an appearance of legality to the slowly killing and kidnapping of Julian #Assange, because Britain could not follow #Pompeo's #CIA extrajudicial path in a presentable way www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/Assange-v-USA-Judgment.pdf pic.twitter.com/0Y2Z6La0dw
