The 49ers today announced they have waived DL Spencer Waege.

49ers waived second-year DT Spencer Waege with their rookie minicamp set to begin Thursday. That should put SF right at the 90-player limit just before they formally welcome 15 new rookies. Waege, a DE to DT convert, had been Trey Lance's college teammate at North Dakota State
