Breaking: The Supreme Court just rejected a constitutional challenge that could have dismantled the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

When a new Supreme Court decision comes down and reflects a particular methodology, there is a certain tendency to assume that this reflects the methodology the Court will follow going forward. On the whole, I think commitments to methodology are lighter than that.

The Supreme Court's smackdown of the 5th Circuit today is satisfying and overdue.
