M4 iPad Pro is unusual, but it’s not crazy. The March M3 Macs were clearly late and meant to come out earlier than they did. No one cares out of sync with the iPhone cadence; I’m not sure Apple has ever compared the relationship between the A-series and M-series in marketing.
