- One person was injured following a serious crash with entrapment in Lake Forest early Sunday morning.
- Lake Forest Fire Department was dispatched to routes 60 and 41 at 2:38 a.m. Sunday for a report of a car in a ditch.
- The patient was removed from the vehicle and transported to Lake Forest Hospital.

- An 18-year-old motorcyclist from Mundelein died in a crash with a pickup truck in Mount Prospect, authorities said.
- Daniel Vazquez was pronounced dead near the intersection of Algonquin and Briarwood at 6 a.m. Tuesday, police said.
- The crash remains under investigation by the Mount Prospect Police and Major Crash Investigation Team.
