- Battalion Chief Bob Heraver said crews arrived to find a 300-gallon plastic tote, which was half full with acid.
- The plastic tote was filled with a strong acid and it is possible that residue from leftover chemicals mixed with it.
- The building was evacuated and the area was cordoned off, Heraver said.

Woman in critical condition after being struck by vehicle in Lindenhurst
Crash
- Lindenhurst Police Chief Thomas Jones said officers discovered a bicyclist down in the roadway with critical injuries.
- The bicyclist activated the push-button crosswalk signal and the flashing lights on the signs were activated.
- A vehicle, which was traveling westbound on Sand Lake Road at Country Place, struck the bicyclist in the crosswalk.
