- A woman received an ankle injury while hiking at Gander Mountain Forest Preserve Wednesday evening, authorities said.
- The woman was discovered alert and conscious at the bottom of a steep hill about a mile off the roadway.
- She was transferred to a nearby hospital. Her condition is currently unknown.
