Public trails on Los Alamos National Laboratory land offer access to scenic landscapes

• Los Alamos National Laboratory occupies nearly 40 square miles of Department of Energy-owned land.
• Most of that land is accessible only to lab employees. But there are thousands of acres open the public.
• LANL maintains dozens of miles of publicly accessible trails traversing the mesas and canyons of the Pajarito Plateau.
